14 year old from Czech Republic in the lead
Fourteen year old Adela Kralova is in the lead in the individual class Small after doing a major run friday. Before the sunday finale she is ahead the current world champion Martin Eberle from Switzerland with 35 hundreths.
To be active in agility was a condition from her mother when she young of age got her first dog - a Border Collie.
"- The problem was that the dog was too quick for me, so my mother decided to train her first. maybe she would calm down so I could run with her later."
As it turned out Adela didn`t fit this dog. A new one had to be bought.
" I chosed a Sheltie. And it had to be black and white to fit with our Border Collie."
The sheltie Rupione-baby she got when she was nine. Since then they has been training together. This WC in Norway is the second big competition for Adela.
The teamleader for Czech Republic Zdenek Spolek can tell us that it today is about 1500 active in the agility sport in teh country with ca 10 mill habitants.
" As for all other sports it is teh results that counts, and reflects the sponsors interest. Therefor Adelas first place is very promising"
" Well, most important is actually to get a good night sleep" says Adela modestly
